TRILOGY

The three works of Familiar Adega Eladio Piñeiro.

 Specific vines in specific zones of quality and origin.

D.O. RIAS BAIXAS; only Albariño, is our origins in wine growing. This autochtonous and noble variety has inspired love to Eladio Piñeiro when he was a child. In the school holidays by reasons for work, it visited the houses of the farmers. These told histories him on this variety, that conserved loose vines after the phylloxera and tried to reproduce to have the sufficient minimum for his self-consumer. This wine was the greater elixir than never they had known and they needed to elaborate for his parties or invitations and gifts. Peculiarly they kept several years even buried, being in addition the perfect companion to its gastronomy, mainly, the one that was prepared in significant commemorations reason why it became a ritual; Eladio Piñeiro living this from boy seduced and fascinated the cult that rendered until the point that knew that its life would be bound to this Myth of the Valley of the Salnés.

D.O.C ALENTEJO; in this region of Portugal it happened something similar to our origins with the Albariño, but 20 years later. Eladio Piñeiro bought in Moncâo (1995) a quinta (farm) with ancient plantation of Alvarinho and elaborated Quintessencia, mark for the market Portuguese. That presented him to all the country and their wines, among them, the Alentejo that enchants to him and takes it to cross town to town, vineyard to vineyard of this Denomination of Origin, reason why immediately that knew what would be the indicated zone to contribute to a very special Red wine by its wealth of native varieties, (Portugal has known to conserve), ground and microclimate. We are breeders of Red wine with Caste, expression, fruit, spiceous and silky, elaborated exclusively with grapes of a single property with vineyards of more than 25 years, to make an unforgettable Wine of Property.

D.G. ORUJO OF GALICIA; the Distillation by the Galician Traditional Method was even to the elaboration of our wines, because with the orujos of Albariño always we distilled a Aqua Vitae (Water of Life) and obtained the first artisan licor demanded by the high restoration. It was commercialized in a bottle in still form. It was elaborated with herbs and fruits, starting off of an ancestral formula that went of parents to children and that a "Aguardenteiro"(a person who makes liquor whith a still traveling), by the friendship who united to my family and not having descendants, bequeathed to us.

Biodynamics

As in the farm as in the winery use it is our objective, for that reason we practiced it in small farmstead, and in the vines of the farm of "Pombal" in Estremoz, Alentejo. We practiced precision viticulture, we obtain the yield that the vines would produce if they were very old besides we not using aggressive sulphates, as well as the respect to the natural surroundings.

Besides we followed the traceability norms scrupulously. From these three Denominations of Origin these FRUITS emerge.
